I would like to say again how much I enjoy the pictures you and Fiona have shared. They are beautiful and I do so look forward to May when I get out there again. I was looking through some of the past messages on HBC. I just love in info.It does my heart good to know how well the Orkadians worked with the Native Peoples then. I have no direct connections to anyone in Orkney. My greatgrand father is from Scotland and a mixture of Shawnee/ cherokee blood in amongst the European is all I can say. Still it showshow weel real, honest down to earth people can work together when allowed.
