    3. All, That is some saga. What heroism. How easy it would have been for people to turn back and say it was too rough. I recall touring the Kirkwall lifeboat when it was anchored in Whitehall and marveling at the power, the strength, and the masses of electronic gear it had. To hit hard enough to injure a man's back while sitting on those foot thick air cushions boggles the mind. How strong is that boat, anyway? And to do all that was done in the dark of night in a howling gale with huge waves is really amazing. Congratulations for all involved. It was some story, and some rescue.
