On page 214 of`Andrew Sinclair's "The Sword and the Grail," he says "A. Bothwell-Gosse, a mason of the Eighteenth grade, published the invaluable 'The Knights Templar' (London, 1912). The Scottish Templars still exist, and some of their lodges admit women. The author is expert in her knowledge of masonic tradition in Scotland and Templar symbolism and vocabulary."
