I tend to agree Norman...in fact I sat on the idea for quite a while wondering how the group would react. Case in point,,it must have been the camel that broke the straws back for Fiona,,she just bailed out. My hope is that the folks that are actually on Orkney will play an active part in letting us "out worlders" get a better peek at what the reality on the ground is. >From a slightly different angle, this group itself is "connected" to Orkney,,it is in a way an extended Orkney community. As such, we have a certain amount of justified interest in each other as people. Used properly a photo place where we can see each other and our surroundings is within the remit of the group? But I am certainly open to discussion and opposing opinions. For what it's worth..the photo album is not part of the group as such...only an external link to the site where it's hosted. To state the obvious, the Orcadia group is about Orkney. While I'd welcome a photo album concerned with things Orcadian, I think that most of the things that you mention in the list above are quite irrelevant to the remit of the Orcadia list.
