You have no idea of her reasons, unless she told you. (It could have been because of the onerous 35+ emails that have crowded into the List over just the past few days ... this can be a bit overwhelming to cull through, and some people just don't have the time to do this kind of constant email deleting.) I might note, too, that the Orkney Communities web site, and The Orcadian and the Orkney Library sites, have great photo sections. There are many places to "view Orkney" on-line, from afar. And I share lots of images with friends via private emailing. - Lisa
