    3. Hello Royce - As a member of this far-flung community - if usually as a lurking one - I laud the possibility of us sharing a part of each others lives, as well as those in the Orkney communities! (phew - ran out of breath there...) Thanks you for your thoughtfulness in creating it as an option for us all! 3. Here Here! The view from here in Canada is that yes, we are bound together as siblings with attachments to mother Orkney. Norman makes a valid point about the purpose of the site. Mother Orkney is and must remain the focus always. But the side bar issue here is that we know each other somewhat, and the connections and bonds we make can become stronger if we share. I think the photos that relate to members is a natural extension of those relationships, and they could be in a who's who members section, aside from the core of this, which is hardcore Orkney. But I would love to see Royce in his Gunn kilt and cowboy hat, and people from down under with their pet roos, and our northern friends with furs and snowshoes and the English eating fish and chips on a cobblestone street...etc. etc. When I was there I met Karen from the south, Scarlett Peggy from Virginia and Vermont, Steve Heddle from Kirkwall and Bruce and Maureen and Surrey the killer cat on Stronsay. By having a photo album to look at, if we are walking through an airport or down Albert street, or sitting in a pub in Stromness, we just recognize someone we have been chatting with for years. That I predict will indeed happen, based on our numbers and the trips we make to Orkney. Bottom line....Royce.... you have begun to pioneer a new and exciting dimension for this group of Orknoids. Thanks for your noble effort.
