Sorry about those last 2 strange messages. I thought I had sent two to the group, and they went straight to Royce, and when I tired to fix it I made things worse. What I actually said was Great idea Royce. OK, questions, comments etc. When I go to the link you provide I'm at a Scottish Festival in Texas. Is that the right place??? I've attached a picture if you want to try it. I changed the file title so it has some description. I think you are the only one who can edit a title or description. Anyone who signs in as a flicker member (it's free) should be able to add comments. The trick is to remember to hit the SAVE button after making a change or addition. If you want to use this picture I'll go and add a link to my other Orkney pictures on flickr in the comments, or you can put it in the description, rather than transfer a lot of pictures. That link would be _http://www.flickr.com/photos/kareneinmemphis/sets/72157594448497738/_ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kareneinmemphis/sets/72157594448497738/) (From there anyone interested can link to my other pictures, except the set labeled "family." I promised my relatives that no one would have access to their baby pictures who couldn't pass a DNA test.) The files are growing gradually. I've tried not to add until I can label something properly. Any comments anyone could give to improve the descriptions would be most welcome. Have you looked at creating a "Group" instead of a set of pictures. That way everybody would be responsible to loading and maintaining there own pictures. There are already some Orkney ones, but no reason not to have our own. Just another idea. It allows not only input from several people, but for developing different threads of conversation to go with pics. It can be set up to limit membership, so you could allow those on the mailing list to actually have input, though others could still look at the pictures. Just an idea. For an example look at the "Orkney" group _http://www.flickr.com/groups/orkney/_ (http://www.flickr.com/groups/orkney/) I've enjoyed using flickr. Took me a while to get into it after a friend started using it. But it's sure better than taking all those pictures and putting them in more scrapbooks and boxes in the closet for someone to throw away some day.
