Hi: I don't have the transcript but would an obit help?: >From The Toronto Star, Friday, February 10, 1989: BARNES, John Walker, P.Eng. – Beloved husband of Judy, adoring father of Christopher and Melissa, loving brother of Elizabeth (Betty) Hartley, and dear son of the late Robert & Helen Barnes. He was taken from us suddenly on Tuesday, February 7, 1989, in his 58th year, however his spirit and memory will be dearly remembered by those who so loved him. He will forever remain within those whom he had touched throughout his life. The family will received friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home – A. W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue, south of Eglinton Avenue East, on Friday, Feb 10 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9pm. Funeral services will be held at the Christ Church, Kettleby, Ontario, on Saturday, Feb 11 at 2pm. Burial will be at Kettleby Cemetery. Directions may be obtained from the Humphrey Funeral Home. We shall celebrate his life, for that is what we wish to remember. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 477 Mount Pleasant Rd, Toronto, Ontario, M4S 1L9 would be appreciated.
