    3. Hello Listers, This is sort of off topic for Ontario, but actually not, as this guy, John wilson ended up marrying a girl, Pauline Brooks from Quebec and raising his family in Elgin County, Ontario, living there from at least 1824 when the first known child was born in Elgin to when he died in Elgin in 1869. Here's my dilemna: I have new info that John Wilson was born on the Atlantic Ocean, (from census record) but the birth was registered in Nova Scotia. I live in Missouri, USA. I'm just learning about the geography of Canada. Yes, I know! American are dumb about our neighbor to the North. <G> I did a search online, but nothing concrete comes up. Is Nova Scotia a part of Canada like Ontario and Quebec or ? Got to be cause PEI is further east and that's part of Canada. Anyway - long day, I'm tired and rambling. How do I access birth records for Nova Scotia? How do I find out which years are available? Now that I have this lead, where do I go with it? ANY help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Dee Sager Neosho, Missouri USA
