    3. Hi Marcia ... It is great that you made a donation of appreciation - as that will always win over friends ... Also please remember to send a thank you note - even without a donation. Further in case my Canadian friends and readers do not know (or have forgotten) that if you are dealing with a "Church cemetery" associated with an active Ccongregation you can ask for Receipt for Canadian Income Tax purposes for your donation. Your donation therefore becomes a charitable act with a tax benefit! This will not apply to our American or overseas friends, unless you file a Canadian Income Tax return. It might not make a huge difference, but in this day and age, every little bit helps ... for both the use of the Church and for your Income Tax deductions ... Cheers! J.
