My husbands family settled in Ontario in 1866 after coming from Ireland. The people were the grandfather Thompson, his daughter-in-law and her 3 sons John Thompson b in 1850, son William G Thompson and Samuel Thompson b Oct 31,1857. Samuel crossed over to Mich where he married and had a family. I have been trying to find the grandfather supposedly buried somewhere in Ontario with the possible 1st name of Irvine Thompson. I have not been able to establish this or to find information on the other 2 sons.
