Hi Heather in Orillia: I am the mother of an adopted child. My opinion is that the birth parents gave me a most wonderful gift and I would love to have them in our lives. (My son is now 28 years old.) It is also my opinion that my son has a right to know his birth heritage. You are one of the few parents that dont' feel threatened. When I found my birth family my mother was so threatened. Mostly because our relationship has never been to good. I told her time after time that she had no reason to worry but it didn't matter. She was very upset. I was 38, not a little kid. deb -----Original Message----- From: ontario-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:ontario-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Mary Forsythe Sent: Friday, September 21, 2007 11:02 PM To: ontario@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [ONTARIO] Adoption records in Ontario are sealed - again!
