Page 225, lines 24 & 25 of the 1851 Census, YORK County, Markham, shows Ellen Bready (sic) and daughter Susan are with son-in-law Robert Blakely and wife/daughter Elisha. The Census states Ellen will be 60 years old and Susan is 30 on next birthday, both born in Ireland, both RC. Can anyone tell if the writing shows them to be widowed, married or single? That's the last they're seen. They are not in the 1881 Census, no Ancestry record of a death of Ellen or a marriage of Susan... that I can find, so I don't know if they are visiting in the 1851 Census or even living in Ontario. Thanks for any hints, help or ouija board rattlings. Cheers! Doreen PS - A Mrs. Ellen Brady in Carleton County who died in 1893 at 102 yrs shows up in Ancestry, but while she fits the name, age and birthplace OCFA shows her husband Patrick buried with her.
