Thanks Doreen. Never once thought of Google. My Gibbs family in the 1851 census indicated there was one female and one male attending school but no names were included. I know Robert Norman Gibbs was a teacher in Elora and I'm trying to find him in 1851 (hoping he's not lost along with census). I have no idea who the female might have been as daughter Henrietta age 19 was indicated living with mom Hannah a widow. Henrietta did housekeeping for her keep. 1851 does pose it's problems.
