I'm trying to locate the death registration of Charles Grinham. I've been unable to find anything on the Ontario Vital Statistics website. The information I have, is that Charles was born about 1882, Ryde, IOW, England, and married Beatrice Damp ( also from the Isle of Wight) at Oakville, Ontario, April 1913. Beatrice remarried on the Isle of Wight 1917. Further, unverified information, is that Charles and two brothers, arrived in Canada about 1912, and Charles drowned a couple of years later, also the brothers went on the open a chain of stores. Can anyone help verify this information, and if there were any children from his marriage with Beatrice Thanks in advance Alf Damp

Charles James Grinham, born Ryde, England, died July 19, 1914, from drowning. Charles & Beatrice Lavinia Damp married April 28, 1913 in Oakville. One of the witnesses was Muriel Grinham. Birth records from that time are not publicly available. Eleanor Grinham, a 15-month old girl, died in 1932 in Oakville. Her parents were James R. Grinham & Gertrude Williams. She was buried at St Jude's Oakville.
