Hi. I have been researching my Phoebe Ann Lothrop, married to Samuel Merrill before about 1830. I know that she was born about 19 Nov 1807 in NY (birth place from 1880 census, which also says her father was born in England, and her mother in Pennsylvania). She died in about 1896, probably in Minnesota. Most of the research that I've done on the Lothrops in that area (Cramahe, Percy Twp., etc.) keeps coming back to the Draper/Lothrop/Palmer/Brown family lines. I'm doubting that she's related to them if her father truly came from England and her mom from Pennsylvania. Is there someone on this list who might know this family and be willing to share?
