Hello everyone First, thanks to those subscribers who aren't clogging the list with requests for a map. I should have noted in my earlier message this morning that the noon deadline was for digest subscribers, to give them a chance to get their digests and see List Admin notices. It's quite mind boggling to me to see the number of NON DIGEST subscribers who just keep ignoring my two messages to the list about making requests privately and not publicly. Anyone not on Digest has had 2 chances to read my notice - one yesterday and another this morning. I've had lots of private emails from subscribers asking what's up with that! So....... I've been quite busy putting those non-digest subscribers who ignored my notice on moderated status. That makes me cranky. So if you are one of those who decided to either not read my PLEASE READ notices or who read them and decided to post to the list anyway, don't be surprised to find your future messages stopped by the list robot where they will have to wait for me to approve them to go to the actual list. Moderated subscribers will be removed from moderated status at my discretion - probably whenever I stop feeling cranky about having to waste my time chasing them. Not to rub salt in the wound but my server often has quite a delay so I may not read messages of warning until 12 - 24 hours after they have been sent. So .... just a reminder that sometimes late responses are not an intentional disregard of the warning or meant to be disrespectful. We are at the mercy of technology and it doesn't always do what we want it to. Hello Elizabeth Very true but I rather doubt that 8 or so folks on different servers all had problems getting my notices. One would also think that if that were the case, they would, as Dottie did, write to me and explain what happened. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck the chances are it's a duck.......
