    3. Thanks Doreen for looking this up for me. It appears not to be my Alexander Brown as he was still in England in 1871. Sorry to be such a nuisance but I keep losing members of this family so it was a longshot that does not appear to pan out.     3. Rae. there is a marriage in Sept 1/4 1878 Fulham London on Free BMD Frances Armytage Cruise and Alexander McDonald Brown I checked for any children born Ontario and none found.     3. Jackie, Thanks for finding that, but I think this is still not my Alexander. The one I am looking for was ALEXANDER MALCOLM HORSCROFT BROWN . He is the son of JAMES BROWN and SARAH HORSCROFT. He was bapt. Feb. 15,1852 in Hurstpierpoint,Sussex,Eng. I appreciate yours and Doreen's help.
