Be cautious. There is a site called World Connect which I was viewing one day, also free.... to a point. I was surprised to find that my grandmother and her twin brother were born in two different locations. Both entries had the same parents entered as well. Then another entry for the twin brother, again with these same parents, but a different wife than the first "twin". In short, persons submitted their findings but had not gone the extra step to verify anything. You may find yourself paying for another persons errors. Cheers! It is a program in the UK, I guess much like rootsweb. I have started to enter my tree and have found that others are connected to me. Until I pay for the subscription, I can not email them. Does any one else have any experience with this site? It looks good and promising, but is it worth it? Doreen: I too have found the same thing on WorldConnect with major errors because they didn't check. I tried to get in contact with a couple of people but their addresses as listed as the donors were no longer valid. Frustrating!
