Hello List It's been awhile since I've been on the site where you could search for Soldiers in WW1 The address I had was http://www.archives.ca/02/02010602_e.html but it seems that it has changed and I can't seem to find it. Does someone have the new url? Thanks Pat
You were on the right track Pat....but you just needed to go a little further. Try this: http://www.collectionscanada.ca/archivianet/cef/index-e.html Hope this helps! Lisa Be smarter than spam. Hi Pat, Here's one URL that might help you. http://www.vac-acc.gc.ca/remembers/ And here's another one, http://www.vac-acc.gc.ca/remembers/sub.cfm?source=collections/virtualmem&CFID=1656938&CFTOKEN=31800884 Nancy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Gunson" <jones@encode.com> To: <ONTARIO@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 31, 2007 7:36 PM Subject: [ONTARIO] WW 1 Soldiers search > Hello List > > It's been awhile since I've been on the site where you could search for > Soldiers in WW1 > The address I had was http://www.archives.ca/02/02010602_e.html > but it seems that it has changed and I can't seem to find it. > Does someone have the new url? > > Thanks > Pat > > *********** > Search Ontario Genealogy & Resources at > http://olivetreegenealogy.com/can/ont/ > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > ONTARIO-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message
Hi All, While cleaning up and organizing old maps, I found a County map for Southern Ontario. (actually it is a soil map). It even shows how Ontario County was split up. It is a very basic map, and can help with understanding our ancestors' travel routes, and neighbouring counties that relatives may be found in. I have used a similar one, but this is clearer and more basis. I've scanned it, so anyone interested in getting it just email me and I'll email the scan to you. Patience though, as I only have dial-up. Nancy
I would love to have a copy. Thanks. (remember that you can send to multiple addresses with one e-mail) Vic ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin & Nancy Caldwell" <edenvaleph@sympatico.ca> To: <ontario@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 02, 2007 3:23 PM Subject: Re: [ONTARIO] Southern Ontario County Map > Hi All, > > While cleaning up and organizing old maps, I found a County map for Southern > Ontario.
