Hello Everyone I am trying to search for John and Elizabeth Graham's family. They were married in Simcoe Co. on 22 June 1860. John was 26 and Elizabeth was 21 yrs. They moved from Essa Twp. to Tecumseh Twp. I found them in the 1871Tecumseh Twp. Census and then they were in Chinguacousy Twp., Peel Twp. in 1881. The family were following: John b. about 1834 Ire. or Ont. Elizabeth nee Cole b. 1839 Ont. Isabella (Bella) b. 1863 Ont. Thomas b. 1865 Jenny b. 1868 Mary b. 1870 John b. 1874 Frederick b. 1874 Hattie b. 1880 All the above dates are rough as most were taken off the census. In 1871 they were Presbyterians. I looked for them in 1891 Census and did not see them in Chinguacousy Twp. I would appreciate hearing where they were in 1891 or 1901 if this is possible. Also any other information that might be the family. Thank you for your help. Don
Have you tried Manitoba? The only thing I could find in Ontario was a Isabella GRAHAM who married John Hamilton STANDING in 1885 - age 23, born in Ontario, married in Ingleside, Caledon Twp, and her residence when she married was Caledon. (Parents John & Eliza Ann GRAHAM). They were both in Argyle, Lisgar, Manitoba, for the 1901 census. He died in 1902. In 1906 she was in Souris district with children & her sister Hattie GRAHAM and she was still there in 1911 (http://www.automatedgenealogy.com) Her nephew, Graham CARSON was living with her in 1901 & 1906. Hattie Robina May GRAHAM married Edward John SMILLIE in Strathcona in 1909 (http://web2.gov.mb.ca/cca/vital/Query.php) With them was a nephew, Graham CARSON. Graham was born Feb 27 1895 in the RM of Dufferin, Manitoba and his mother was a Jennie GRAHAM. Jennie married James T. CARSON Jul 26 1893 in Dufferin, Manitoba. A Jennie CARSON died Mar 7 1895 in Dufferin. Graham may have been in Visalia, California for the 1920 census.
