When in doubt - go to the source. The Glossary on the LDS site for (of) states: circa, Swedish ((ca.) (Latin)) Swedish word for "about, approximately" There are two entries for the word "of" - neither of which apply. However when I searched with brackets I got the above answer. Cheers!
