Hello: Does anyone have this above Atlas? At the back of it is usually a list of inhabitants for each township and there is a settlement date column in those tables. I'm looking for a John Johnson who lived in Napanee and hopefully the year he emmigrated will be shown there. Thanks very much, Bonnie

Bonnie: Often that date is "settled in the county" not an immigration date. Sometimes people were in another place for a while before finally deciding on a piece of land to buy or rent. And the only people in the list are the ones who purchased space - patrons as they were called. Your ancestor isn't necessarily going to be there.
