Hey Steve: Can you let me know who is it, and the citation so I can take a look please. The K.C. could refer to "King's Counsel" if he was appointed during the pre Victorian period. It does not apply to "Knights of Columbus" as they were not founded until the 1880's. Cheers! Brian
