Hi Listers, A friend has asked me to do some research for her. I have very scanty information, but here it is. Looking for the marriage of Calvin Siscoe Powers, born 09 Sep 1826 in Ontario, and married "in the township of Clark in New Castle District, in the Methodist Episcopal Church, on 17 Oct 1845." (Information taken from family notes). Calvin's father was Samuel Weatherhead Powers, and mother was Catherine Sophia Doran. Any help you may provide as to how my friend may obtain this marriage record will be appreciated. Actually, any information on this family would also be extremely helpful.
