Good Morning; I am at my wits end :0) with my family tree .... My great grandfather Joseph Bernon was married to Jeannette Brown. Jenette Brown died in child birth May 24, 1927 Sydney Mines Cape Breton Nova Scotia. Now here is where it gets confusing Joseph Bernon moved to Ontario and changed his name from Bernon legally to Brown I was told he was in hiding from Jeannette's family. Joseph went on to marry again his wife's name Isabella (Bella) they had 3 daughters Anne, Marcella and the third unknown. I was told that my great grandfather died my dad said in the 80 's my aunt said late 1960's I was told by one he was a Minister in the church of Scientology and my aunt says He was a faith healer. If anyone has any information I would love to hear from you... I do have some information on the Brown's from Nova Scotia And Joseph Bernon/ Brown's first wife and her children. I am willing to share all I have on the Brown / Bernon family tree Because I cannot find information on Joseph I am unable to trace further back On the Bernon family who originally came from France.
