Hello I am trying to find out if there was a marriage record for E. Graham/Grimes. I found him in the 1861 census for Emily Twp. Victoria Co. The Census Record states the following: J. Bealby, farmer, born Canada West, religion N.C. Meth., age 33, married A.J. do born Ire., religion N.C. Meth., age 33, married A. do born Canada West age 13 M. do born Canada West age 11 E.J. do born Canada West age 9 J.B. do born C.W. age 6 male S.A. do born C.W. age 4 E.M. do born C.W. age 2 E. Grimes, born C.W., religion N.C. Meth., age 24 , not member of family. E. Grimes /Graham's parents were William and Elizabeth Graham. The family lived until 1848 in Cavan Twp. and then split up. The family were the following: William b. 1796 to 1798 Ireland, died Lindsay 17 or 18 Feb. 1887 buried Riverside Cem. Lindsay age stated 95 (age 89 or 91), next of kin, son William. Elizabeth b. c1800 Ireland. She would be born, due to child bearing age, c1800 as James b. 1843. William born 1824 Ireland m. 20 Sept. 1858 at Nottawasaga Twp., Simcoe Co. Catherine Coles b. 1816 Ireland, parents Thomas and Elizabeth Elliott. John b. 1834 Ontario m. 22 June 1860 in Essa Twp. Simcoe Co. Elizabeth Coles b. 1839 Canada. Parents John and Catherine Coles. Catherine, Elizabeth's mother, married William Graham, John's brother. David b. 1836 d. Feb. 19, 1851 Cavan Parish E. b. 1837 Ontario (from 1861 Census for Emily Twp.) Margaret b. c1841 Cavan Twp. m. Joseph Thornhill b. 1839 Ire. m. 19 April 1861 in Lindsay. James b. 14 April 1843 bapt. Sept. 10 1843 C. of E. Records for Cavan Twp. m. Margaret McSkimmings After James died Margaret married Joseph Morden. I tried Ancestry.com but was not able to get into the Marriage Records for Ontario or I was doing the requesting wrong. I would appreciate some one helping me find if there is a marriage record available. Thank you for your help. Don
