I just looked at the 1990 census and it appears that Jacob came over in 1868 and that he was naturalized. It does not mean that 1868 was the year he was naturalized, just that he immigrated over here at that time and did get his papers sometime prior to 1900. Louisa it looks like came over in 1866, two years before Jacob. And she was probably naturalized under her husband Jacob as back then the family was automatically included as far as I know. Dot
