I own this book, and found the following on page 84: "Nine ministers served in the Whitby Methodist Church between 1856 and 1876, when it was replaced by the Methodist Tabernacle, now St. Mark's United Church. One of these ministers was Rev. John Hunt (1818-1901), whose son, Vincent Perry Hunt (1859-1952) was one of the founders of the Toronto Conservatory of Music and was music director at Albert College in Belleville and at the University of Alberta.
