Try a branch of the Church of Later Day Saints. They have microfilms of most British records that are available. Catherine I had a gt uncle at Ham Hosp buried by the city at Woodland off off Plains road near the Burlington Horticultural place. Woodland Cemetery Plains Road West at Botanical Dr 700 Spring Garden Road, Burlington Maybe you have to contact the City of Hamilton to get the telephone number for Woodland http://www.hamilton.ca/CityDepartments/PublicWorks/Parks/Cemeteries/Contact+Information.htm Maybe phoning them will be faster to confirm anything? Catherine, You can check for employee vs. patient status at www.ontariogenealogy.com Michael has an index of inpatients in Kingston, Hamilton, London and several other Asylums in Ontario. My great-great aunt died while a patient at London Asylum. She is buried at Vienna. I believe it depended on where the family wanted them buried. Also, try to find a death record. That would (probably) give the burial info.
