Marg, Thanks for the pointers. I have searched The Canadian Military Heritage Project, Olive Tree and Ancestry.com and I am not finding very many muster rolls, mainly found is those that were sentenced to death or jailed. I guess I should mention I am looking for my ancestor Levi Willson/Wilson. According to his obit he was a Major in the 1837 Rebellion (among other things like sheriff). I will look through the links you have sent. THANK YOU! Hi Doreen: Actually, on the marriage reg that you kindly sent Gerry for the son of Nathaniel & Mary, James, note the names of James' parents on it, Samuel and Phoebe. They should be Nathaniel and Mary E. The marriage reg for Nat and Mary's son James is below, indexed as Core instead of Cove/Cave on Ancestry. Also, James on the 1881 census with Nathaniel and Mary is shown as single and the marriage reg you kindly sent is for 1878. According to the Ingersoll cemetery info that I previously sent Gerry, James Cove's wife was Annie Cuthbert: Ontario, Canada Marriages, 1857-1924 County of Oxford, Division of Ingersoll Name: Annie Cuthbert, spinster, resides Oxford, Baptist Birth Place: Canada Age: 25 Estimated birth year: abt 1856 Father Name: Wm James Cuthbert Mother Name: Jane Cuthbert Spouse Name: James T Core (--spelling as indexed at Ancestry.), bachelor, farmer, resides Oxford, Methodist Spouse's Age: 24 Spouse Estimated Birth Year: abt 1857 Spouse Birth Place: Canada Spouse Father Name: Nathaniel Core Spouse Mother Name: Mary Core Marriage Date: 6 Dec 1881 Marriage Place: Mrs. Cuthbert's at Ingersoll, Oxford Witnesses: Margaret Cuthbert and George Dye (- married one of Nathaniel's girls), both of N.
