Hello Ken. No Overholt or Corbet showing in Emily Presbyterian Transcripts, doesn't mean they aren't there, these transcript were done 1979. In Emily Cemetery for OVERHOLT Elda (Henderson) George M. Harley L. CORBETT Lizzie & Samuel If you don't mind a suggestion. Think your Cousin's best bet is to try to find out who is the Caretaker of the Burial Records before he goes walking all over Cemeteries. The local Service Centre in that area should have those details. Could be stones have sunk, been broken off, as am sure you are aware. There is a Cemetery in the middle of Omemmee just off Division St. if memory serves me, old Cemetery. Unfortunately I have not transcribed that Cemetery as yet. Good luck with your search. Thanks Ellen I had read somewhere that Martha had remarried to a Corbet and was buried in Emily cemetery in the Overholt plot. There were three David Stinsons around the same age with two of them in Emily township and the other in South Grey. David and Margaret in Ops and David and Martha in Omemee. My cousin's son is going to do some searching this spring and see if he can find it. Fortunately only one died in 1899. Our David was a Presbyterian so probably check that cemetery first. Would be nice to find just to see who, if anyone, is buried around him. Thank you for your reply. I come from the David and Martha line. David's son Charles would be my great grandfather. I also knew about the Deyell family as my mother had a photo of John Henry, as well as his obituary. John and Charlie both worked for the railroad. I had also seen newspaper notices for David and Walter working for the railroad too. I guess that explains my grandfathers fascination with trains. I have found very little on Catherine. One website had index records for Catherine Deyells baptism, as well as Eliza Jane and David. I have been trying to find anything pointing me back to Ireland for David, so I have been searching the Deyell link to see if that sheds any light on it.
