Larry, Please allow me to butt in here. I was born Rodney L. O'Neal in Electra, TX. My dad died when I was 3 years old. My mother remarried when I was 8 years old and we moved to Monahans, TX. My Stepfather was Otis W. Hooper and the Hooper's have printed a very extensive book on US Hooper's. I have a sister who lives near Bullard, TX, and another in Phoenix, AZ. I too am new at genealogy, but I was fortunate to have the O'Neal Family Bible which starts at 1784 and ends 1884. My gggrandfather was born in NC and moved to Wilson Co TN before 1820. In 1830 the family moved to Missouri. Forgive me for butting in but reading the similarities between your life and mine I had to respond Rod O'Neal
