    3. Larry, This is strange (maybe not) but I am a Nix, too, but I married an O'Neil. I joined this email board because we know nothing about our O'Neil ancestors; however, I likewise know nothing about my Nix ancestors. Both my husband's O'Neil grandfather and my Nix great grandfather died young. It seems that the family histories were buried with them. My husband is from upstate New York (Syracuse), and I am from North Georgia. Do you know about any Nix ancestry stemming from North Georgia?
