My direct line is in Whitefield who married NANCY ANGELL born May 15, 1825 in Quincy, IL and died April 28, 1916. WHITEFIELD died June 3, 1890 both in Quincy, IL. Children of WHITEFIELD and NANCY are: 1. THOMAS MADISON born in Adams Co. IL on July 8, 1851, married SARAH VICKERS, and died in California, . 2. WILLIAM SANFORD, born Jun 12, 1843 in Adams, IL, married ANNIE ELIZABETH HALEY,and died Feb. 1, 1933. 3. GEORGE WASHINGTON, born 1854, in Adams, IL. died 1911 (never married). 4. ELIAS ANGEL, born Aug. 16, 1843, in Adams, IL. married MARY MALINDA TUCKER, Dec. 4, 1878. 5. MARTHA ELLEN married JOHN MILLER. 6. MARY FRANCIS died Shelbina, MO. 7. JOSEPH (died as small child).
