Her father who signed for her was either Michael or Mitchell. She was born c1812. On one census it says AL and on another MS. She also says that her father was b. in NC. She and Rodwell later moved to Yalobusha Co. MS. I have not found any evidence of any of her O'Neal kin living nearby at that time (unless it was sisters). She did name one son Hiram. Her children's names included: Joshua Jackson, Jacob O. (which I believe stands for O'Neal), Stephen J., Peter M., James W., William C., Mary Jane, L. C. (I think this is Lucinda), Hiram M., Calvin L., Robert A, and Mary E.
