Well, as an ex-navy person, I might be able to shed a little more light to this. NTS=Naval Training Station. Farragut is located in northern "panhandle" region of Idaho. It's closer to Couer delene than to Sandpoint, however it is between the two. I'll note that I've lived in WA for all of my life, but I'm just across the Idaho/WA line. Farragut is, and has been since the Navy closed it, a state park!! As a civilian employee of our local USAF base........I'll also pass on that there is still a small Navy presence on "Pon Da Ray" lake :>) It's located at Bayview, ID Hope this helps Don O'Neall
