Anne, I have a Mary O'Neal (O'Neil) in my family tree, but do not know who she married. Seven brothers immigrated from Ireland in the middle 1700's. Two settled in Virginia, and later moved to Cocke county Tennessee. According to my information, by 1816, both brothers had large families. I do not know the names of the two brothers. However, one of the brothers had children named Henry, Peggy, Nancy Elizabeth (Betsy), Peter, Mary and Lucindy. The other brother had children named Joseph, William, George Washington, Calvin, Harrison, Darius, Nancy, and Maria. Does any of this information match up with yours? I have more data on marriages and children after this first level.
