Hi all! So then, all Hugh's contemporary descendants do not bear the O'Neall surname, unless they picked it up elsewhere. Does anyone have more on this Caldwell family? There are several times they show up in the O'Neall records. They were a large and powerful family. The "C" in John C. Calhoun stands for Caldwell!
