With a severe lack of confidence in my counting ability, I had FamilyTreeMaker calculate the g-g's between me and William O'Neal, b.1777. According to FTM, he is my 5th great grandfather. I'm actually older than Kathy. With about 20 years per generation there would be room for roughly 7 or 8 generations.
