    3. My source for the first WIlliam, b.1734 in Christiana, Delaware, was the O'Neall Cousins Project. He married Mary Frost. Information on the second William, b.1756, came from the Edenfield Genealogical Society (http://edenfield.org/dbase/dbase08/cag00001.htm#1). I have little to no additional information about him other than he was the father of the third William. Data on the third WIlliam, b.1777, also comes from the Edenfield Genealogical Society (http://edenfield.org/dbase/dbase08/cag00001.htm#2). He married Elinor Culpepper and was my g-g-g-g-g-grandfather. Making the link to Hugh O'Neall through the second William is pure hypothesis based on dates, geography, and wishful thinking. One other factor for which I base the probability of my being a Hugh O'Neall descendant is a family story about them immigrant ancestor having jumped ship in New England and changing his name to O'Neal. That story could be an out-of-focus version of what Hugh did. Do you know if anyone has created a master O'Neal family tree based on all the data available? A Gedcom or FamilyTreeMaker file would be useful.
