    3. Dan, I would love more info on the O'Neill's you speak of. It is really hard to connect up with other O'Neill families when they may not be aware that one of the family line moved out of the US. It is thought also in the family that John's parents did move back to the US though and didn't stay in Canada. Whether they returned to NY or went further (Georgia or Alabama are two names that have been mentioned), we have no way to tell, and if there were any other children with them. John Henry could have stayed here because his wife was from Canada. I don't know much about US history time line to know what was going on in 1863 that could send a family north. Whenever my grandmother talked about her father's family, they were always in the US. My grandmother did her nursing degree jointly with a NY and a Toronto hospital therefore spending quite a bit of time in NY. Also, her younger sister Anna, married Irwin Lindblom from Rhode Island, NY and is buried there somewhere. I have checked the Social Security Death Index and both Irwin and Anna Lindblom show up. I just have to get the paper work sent to me to see if it shows anything I don't already know. Thanks for your help! Happy hunting! Sharon
