Did these O'Neills come from Sligo Ireland? Did you know of any anscestors working on the mo-pacific railroad? There was a John Joseph O'neill which came to the states in 1842. I understand that O'Neill & Killoren (which I have a lot of info. on) were couzins. Please let me know if you think there is a link. I also know that there was a ann or patricia O'Neill that were 2 of my greatgrandfathers (2 out of 12) sisters. It is harder to trace due to so many women & the last names being changed. Also the spelling of O'Neill , O'Neil or O'Neal!. My Uncle told me that O'Neill were kings in Ireland in the 5-7 century. Who knows, but me & my mom are going there in July or Oct. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Perturbo@aol.com> To: <ONEALL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, March 20, 2000 1:51 PM Subject: Re: [ONEALL-L] Charles O'Neil - Mary Wetzel > HELLO, > THE NAMES OF THE CHILDREN THAT WHERE BORN TO CHARLES O'NEIL AND MARY > WETZEL WERE THE OLDEST ELMA O'NEIL, HAZEL O'NEIL AND JAMES O'NEIL HAZEL WAS > MY GRANDMOTHER SHE WAS BORN ON OCT. 23 1901.
