John >> John, Yes, it was some months ago that we discussed several details of John O'Neill that are recorded in "The Annals of Newberry", which are not supported by the documents available today. Maybe the author was referring to another John O'Neill, as we know that some of the O'Neill brothers who migrated to South Carolina did have sons named John, or possibly an unrelated John O'Neill. Of course, I will be happy to share my research and post it to this Forum. Thank you for your interest in this least known of the O'Neill brothers. James E. Hargraves
