In fact, there were two Henry O'Neills in Frederick County, Virginia. The oldest, Henry O'Neill was born 1724 Virginia and he married Margaret Chambers, daughter of William and Mary Chambers. This Henry O'Neill is listed on the Frederick County, Virginia Rent Rolls for 1759 (When our Henry was only about 15 years old). This Henry O'Neill is recorded as a soldier of the Frederick County, Virginia Militia in 1774 as stationed at Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia during Lord Dunmores' War. (7 years after our Henry O'Neill left for South Carolina) William Chambers will of September 13, 1782 Frederick County, Virginia mentions daughter Margaret O'Neill, wife of Henry O'Neill and his grand son, William Chambers O'Neill. The will was proved by affirmation of Quaker witnesses. Henry and Margaret Chambers O'Neill had the following children: John 1763, James F. 1765, Rachel 1767, Eber 1768, Jane 1769, William Chambers 1772, Susannah 1775, Henry 1777, Thomas Asa 1778, Hugh 1785, Margaret September 26, 1787.
