A few days ago I read a message requesting information about an O'Neal that may have lived in Springdale, Arkansas, and I must have accidentally deleted it before I could reply. My great-grandfather, John O'Neal was from that area, and did live in Springdale at one time. He left that area around the turn of the century. We don't know much about him other than his parent's names, but it might be a connection with others that were in the area. He also lived at one time around Decatur, Texas, where his brother, George O'Neal, settled. He ended up in Hot Spring County, Arkansas in the earlier 1900s, and stayed there until his death. His son Henry Evans O'Neal, who was my grandfather, was born in Monett, Missouri. I would like to correspond with the O'Neal who posted the message. Shari Williams
