Timothy O'Neill, (and everyone else) I, too, have been searching for ancestors from the St.Paul/Minneapolis area. I know my grandmother and her family lived there - Her father, my ggf was the "City Counsel for St. Paul." I understood that to mean he was an attorney for the city. This was around the turn of the century. He was Owen Harry O'Neill b 1863 married (1) Margaret (Buckley) b 1865. Children - Hugh, Edward b1892, Eugene b1894, Olive b1896, Robert b1898. Owen Harry married (2) May Doherty b1875. Children - Mary, Harry, Katherine, Alice, William. Owen had 2 sisters - Annie and Mary Agnes (Mamie). Their parents were John O'Neill b Ireland and Anne Larkin b Ireland. John's parents - Owen O'Neill and Anna Boland - Children - John, William, Anna, Catherine, and Phelim (Felix). No dates or locations or times of arrival in the States. Let me know if we connect anywhere - I'd love to learn! VRY, Barbara C.
