The NEALS, yes, we are strange ones, Revering those before. We know their daughters, know their sons And want to know much more! We search the lists to find a name, A port, village or town..... We tell the legends, love the fame That passed these genes on down. We read the books, and go on-line To educate and learn, And everday, we get the "sign".... For IRELAND we all yearn. To the green sod, and rocky coasts Thatched homes, plowed fields and mud, Through KISIMUL, with castle ghosts... That still contains their blood. No sept could have more passion, No history more complete, No tartan worn in fashion, No battles, no defeat. Before I say, "A mother, A teacher, sister, wife", I say, "NEAL, an Irish brother", And defend it with my life! Dear List: Are you as geNEALogically insane as I think I am about our heritage? I can't get enough of this....and have promised ME that my next big trip will be to IRELAND. Want to come? It is time................ Amanda
