To Pete O'Neil-- Interested in your Pittsburgh O'Neils, wondering if they connect to mine. My John O'Neil and his wife Margaret Curtis settled there in 1880s, had a bunch of kids, including Lizzie who married Charles Reel and had a mortuary on Ohio Avenue next to St. Peter's Church in Allegheny City; also, John who had a moving business; Hugh, owner of a saloon; Bernard (Barney) a house painter, who marred Anna Wenger, and a few others who left Pittsburgh. Barney had a son "Bunzie" who later was All-American on the Univ. of Tennessee football team. Please let me know if these names ring any bells. Thanks. --J. Lee Nichols
