    3. I would LOVE to compare notes! The material I have is based on a handwritten account of her ancestry by my great-greatgrandmother, Matilda Agnes O'Neal (1838-1910) who states that her parents were Bartlet O'Neal and Matilda Katherine Fraser and that her grandparents were Bartlet O'Neal and Susan Bell (whose marriage I found in Campbell Co., VA) and James and Agnes (Austin) Fraser. SIMON O'Neal with wife Matilda is in Pickens Co., SC in 1850 as are James E. Fraser and wife Agnes. Matilda O'Neal, widow of Bartlett/Simon O'Neal and mother of Matilda Agnes, lived with her daughter and son-in-law William McEwen Hunnicutt in Rabun Co., GA. I have a tintype of her. This is a very confusing family! On Matilda O'Neal Hunnicutt's pension application as a Confederate Widow, she states she was born in Green Co., GA, 4 July 1838. Green Co., GA is full of O'Neals (and was at the time of her birth), but I can find no record of her parents being there. I gladly welcome any information you can share and will send you what I have. My new email address: Newgate2000@gateway.net. The old address will "expire" soon. Hope to hear from you soon.
